Destination errors

A platform shows Disconnected, or refuses the connection.

The platform refused or dropped the connection. Check that the stream key is current (YouTube and Facebook keys can change per broadcast), that the platform account still allows live streaming, and that your plan's bitrate is within the platform's limits. Reconnect the platform if its connection shows Expired. Details are in the channel's Logs tab.

Regenerating a stream key

Open the channel menu and choose "Regenerate stream key" (also available in the channel details). The old key stops working immediately, so update your encoder. You cannot regenerate while the channel is live. Only custom RTMP channels have a stream key; camera, screen share and media file channels do not need one.
